Privacy policy

Effective September 10, 2026

1. About this policy

Vectis Works makes software, data systems and shop-floor dashboards for manufacturing companies. Our office is at 100 Powell Place #1170, Nashville, TN 37204.

This policy applies to vectisworkspartners.com. It applies as well to business email sent by Vectis Works. Here, "we", "our" and "us" refer to Vectis Works.

2. Opting out

Answer any message from us with a note saying you want no more. The words don't matter. On a phone call, telling the caller works too.

We act on it quickly. In every case we act inside 10 business days.

After that, your name and email address go on our do-not-contact list. The list stops us writing to you again, including when your details turn up from a different source.

3. Who we contact and how

Our messages go to people in manufacturing whose jobs connect to what we do. Typical examples are heads of operations, plants, engineering and IT.

Most contact is by work email. Once in a while it is a call to a business number or a letter to a business address.

We write only where our work may matter to that company. A request to stop ends it.

4. Information we hold

  • Business contact details. Name and job title; employer; work email; business phone; a professional profile link, if one exists.
  • Company details. The company name and website, its industry and size, where it is located, and its business address.
  • Public activity by the business. Job postings, news stories and posts made in public.
  • Deliverability results. A check on whether mail sent to a work address would arrive.
  • Messages and notes. What you write to us, and what we note down from our conversations.
  • Visits to this site. No cookies are set here. No analytics run here. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, for example browser type and IP address, so it can serve and protect the site. The site's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, and Google Fonts receives your IP address in the process.

Sensitive data is outside what we collect. That means nothing about health, no financial account numbers and no government identification numbers.

5. Sources

  • What people and companies publish: company sites, job boards, news outlets and professional networking profiles.
  • Commercial data vendors that supply company data and business contact details.
  • You yourself, when you answer an email, complete a form or talk with us.

6. Uses

The information lets us:

  • work out whether what we offer might suit a company;
  • write to you at work about what we offer;
  • confirm an address is valid before any email goes to it;
  • answer your replies and, when you want, talk about or deliver our services;
  • maintain the do-not-contact list;
  • protect our systems and comply with the law.

We do not track whether our emails are opened.

7. Sharing

Personal information is never sold or rented by us. We don't hand it to other companies for their marketing. We don't use it for targeted advertising.

It goes only to:

  • Companies that provide services to us and act for us: email and mailbox services, email verification, business data vendors, hosting and data storage. They are allowed to use it only to deliver those services.
  • Authorities or other parties, where a law requires it, or where that is needed to protect rights, property or safety.
  • Anyone who buys or takes over our business. They have to keep protecting it under this policy.

8. Retention

Business contact records stay with us while they help us contact businesses. Stale records are deleted or brought up to date.

Client records stay as long as the work needs them, and as long as legal and accounting duties need them.

An entry on the do-not-contact list is kept for the whole time we are contacting businesses.

9. Security

Access is restricted to the people who need the information. Reasonable safeguards protect it, both technical and organizational. No system can offer absolute security, and we do not promise it.

10. Requests and rights

You may ask us to:

  • show what we hold about you, and its source;
  • fix anything in it that is wrong;
  • erase it. The one exception is your do-not-contact entry, which lets us go on honoring your request.

Some US states, California among them, give residents extra privacy rights by law. These cover knowing, correcting and deleting personal information, and opting out of its sale or sharing. Vectis Works does neither.

Using a right will never change how we treat you.

There are three ways to make a request. Reply to an email from us. Use the contact form at vectisworks.com. Or send a letter to the address in section 14.

To verify a request, we may ask you to confirm which email address we wrote to. Our response comes within the period the law allows. An authorized agent can make the request on your behalf.

11. People under 18

What we offer and what we send are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly gather information about anyone younger than 18.

12. Location

Vectis Works operates from the United States and contacts US businesses. Processing takes place in the United States and in any country where our service providers work.

13. Updates

Any change to this policy comes with a new effective date at the top.
