1. Agreement

These terms cover your use of vectisworkspartners.com. Your use of the site means you accept them. Anyone who does not accept them should stay off the site.

2. What the site is

This site explains what Vectis Works offers: services for shop-floor data, dashboards, software and automation.

No content here is an offer to enter a contract. Each engagement runs under its own written agreement, signed by both sides. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins.

3. Emails from Vectis Works

Vectis Works sometimes emails professionals whose work connects to its services. A reply to any of those emails stops them.

The privacy policy sets out what we hold, its sources, and how to ask about it.

4. Sample material

Dashboards, charts and figures on this site or in our sample dashboard are built on representative sample data. Their purpose is to show the sort of views we make.

None of it is a result from any client. None of it promises an outcome.

5. Rules for use

Only lawful use is allowed. You may not disrupt the site. You may not gain access you are not authorized to have, to the site or its underlying systems. You may not test it for vulnerabilities. You may not copy content with automated tools.

6. Ownership of content

Vectis Works or its licensors own the site's content, including its text, graphics and logos.

You are welcome to view and print pages as a reference for your own business. Other uses require our permission in writing.

For client work, rights are set out in the written agreement covering that work.

7. Other sites and services

The site contains links to vectisworks.com. It pulls its typeface from Google Fonts.

Those third parties have their own terms, which apply to their services. Vectis Works is not responsible for them.

8. Disclaimer

We supply the site on an "as available" and "as is" basis, as general information only.

As far as the law permits, we disclaim every warranty, whether express or implied. That covers non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. We make no promise that the site will run without interruption or errors.

The site gives no legal, financial, engineering or other professional advice.

9. Liability limit

Within the limits the law sets, Vectis Works accepts no liability for damages tied to use of the site that are special, indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive. The same goes for lost data, profits, revenue or opportunities.

Total liability for a claim about the site is capped at one hundred US dollars.

10. Indemnification

If you misuse the site or break these terms, you will indemnify Vectis Works and hold it harmless. The same protection extends to its agents, team members and owners. It covers the resulting claims, losses and expenses. Reasonable attorneys' fees are included.

11. Law and arbitration

Tennessee law governs these terms. Tennessee's rules on conflicts of law are set aside.

Disputes about these terms or the site go to binding arbitration, held in Nashville, Tennessee, under American Arbitration Association rules. This applies unless the law does not permit it.

12. Other terms

A term found unenforceable does not affect the others. Failing to enforce a term does not waive it.

These terms, with the privacy policy, make up the whole agreement between you and Vectis Works about the site.

When we update these terms, the effective date at the top changes.
